Enter the number of head that are inseminated. This could be a different number than the total number of head that are synchronized depending on the synchronization program. If animals are inseminated at a fixed time, the number synchronized and the number inseminated are identical. If you choose to inseminate following estrus, the number inseminated is equal to the number in estrus. The cost per head to artificially inseminate each female is supplied in the Management Information section. If you continue to use artificial insemination after the synchronized estrus, record the number inseminated and the AI cost per head under the second row.
