Upon your recent graduation from school you moved back to work with your father on the farm. You had always worked on the farm, but your father had given you more responsibility. Specifically, you learned about managing the herd and keeping an eye on the calving rate.
A little bit ago, your father called you into the living room. He informed you that your uncle had recently passed away. He lived in the southern part of the state. Your father went on to tell you that your uncle had left farm and $20,000 to you in his will. After your recent graduation from the university and all the summers you had spent with your uncle on the farm, it seemed like a perfect situation.
“So," your father asked. "What do you think? Are you up for this?”
